Howdy!
Birthday just passed and well, it was an interesting one.
Its kinda like a transition, being 25.
Going to graduate in 2 months time, going to find work soon, finally, at new crossroads.
What am i to do now?
Church is busy, crusade is in high gear with its Davinci Code Offensive plans.
Many things are moving around me, but to be honest, i just want things to be still.
How does one be still when everything is just flying around? How does one stay still when everything is moving so fast so soon?
Reminded of the term being in the "eye of the storm, where in the hurricane, thats the only place in such chaos that everything is still. Quite amazing if you ask me, i just wonder how it translates into my life?
For my birthday, i invited mel, chris, dan, taiyong, justin, siming, nick, janice and luzanne for dinner, spent quite a fair bit feeding that many ppl with a student's wallet, but well, it was worth it. These ppl are my constant throughout these few years, some in the past, some in the present, some both. It was an interesting feeling.
Why was it interesting? Seeing these guys and gals, i could see how much has changed for me, for better or for worse? I have no idea, only time can tell, but the reality is that things are different. I've moved on but yet have not moved on , in such a limbo that i'm pretty much confused in that sense.
Guess who was missing which made the gathering incomplete was J i guess.
Sang for a chinese congregation in Glad Tidings Church last sunday, straight after my birthday. It was a new experience and to be honest, i dunno how it turned out, cos well, i just could't tell. And i really don't know who i could ask. ut well, its something new and i appreciate the chance to learn.
ok, sleepy, would blog more hopefully, but the main thing is this...
being 25 is a feeling of infinite possibilities, but yet one of confusion and fear.
Lets see where the Lord leads...
Taiyong: Thank you for your gift and your note. It was something i really never knew but i thank you for your kind words about me. It was encouraging that what i talked to you about or what i did in the last few years was not a mistake ( to a certain extent at least).
You have been a blessing too for me, to have someone in YPM still remember me and keep in touch, God bless
